Taiwan, Touch your Heart 1
On 04th July 2011,
9 ladies,
with 1 gentleman,
boarded on 1 flight
flying towards a destination which is 1909 miles/ 3073 km away from Singapore.
The journey of a 10 days and 9 nights free and easy trip begins here..
hotel.
We arrived at Taoyuan at 10pm and we proceed to take the high speed rail to Kaohsiung, a city located in the southwestern Taiwan. Checked in the hotel, 85 Sky Tower at the centre of the city's business and shopping district, its ranking is next to Taipei 101 in height, it has also become one of the landmarks in Kaohsiung. We stayed in 29th floor on the 85 storey hotel. The panoramic day view and night view from our hotel room is really awesome!
Dream Mall was the first destination, the largest shopping mall in Taiwan. Adina and I had little interest of shopping in the shopping malls therefore we went around to explore different parts of the mall. The interior courtyard of the mall is very pretty. To our astonishment, we found a amusement park on the roof of Dream Mall and we ended up playing basketball arcade games there. The giant Ferris Wheel behind us is the famous Kaohisung Eye.
Here we are at the Central Park station. Shinkuchan Entertainment and Wufu Shopping District were the first few night market we went to.
It's summer in Taiwan so that means it is a great whether to go for sightseeing and exploration of offshore island in Taiwan. We headed to Xiao Liu Qiu on a clear day. Numerous caves on the pictures below are actually terrains made of coral. The strange coral rock formation stand throughout the island and the ocean scenery is entrancing!
