♥ Prawn Fishing
Finally i wrote a post with WORDS, yeah!Anyway looking for new activtities? How about prawn fishing? Some people may not know that they can fish for prawns.Ermm, sounds interesting? Let me tell you more... During baby's off day, we went down to Hai Bin U Enterprise Prawn Fishing @ Bishan No. 603, Sin Ming Avenue Singapore for a prawn fishing expereince.
Come on people, erase your mental image of a big net catching little visible prawns swimming on the surface of a pond. Prawn fishing here is far from that, it is a patient man's sport. We used a thin, light wooden rod with a two-metre line attached to an indicator float and a small hook. We found a good spot and waited patiently for a bite. The bait used to attrat the prawns were chicken's liver, we sliced them into tiny pieces which were just small enough to cover the tip of the hook.
A test of patience, you can probably sit there for hours without any harvest. So it's better to grab a chair to sit near the pond.
Melvin Soh- Baby's younger brother. Thank god he joined us for the fun, if not imagine both of us paying 60 bucks and sit there for 3 hours and only managed to catch 3 prawns at the end of the day! A total madness can! haha. He caught the most number of prawns so most of the credit should go to him as well. Thanks man!I admitted that i was quite useless most of the time, sitting on a chair playing Melvin's PSP.

Harvest of the day- 12 huge and lively prawns! Yeah, no bad right? a good start for the beginners like us. 1 by me, 2 by baby and the rest by Melvin.
Brought home these prawns, Baby's mummy cooked them with martell. oh my god, these prawns are so drunk! haha. their flesh is so so juicy and fresh, yummy yummy. THUMBS UP!
